MISSION, FUNDING INDEPENDENCE & INVESTIGATIVE DOCTRINE
Who We Are & What We Do
An independent civil society investigative platform dedicated to democratic oversight.
Why We Act: The Founding Conviction
Standing against institutional decline, demanding uncompromising integrity
This initiative was founded because we refuse to stand idly by and watch our country and its institutions deteriorate. We need principled, upright politicians and civil servants, alongside strictly regulated, transparent procedures to halt any harmful influence on the lives of citizens.
Whether questionable individual actors abuse administrative authority or coordinated groups advance special interests: every suspicious proceeding belongs in the public spotlight. Whatever motives are claimed is entirely immaterial to us – what alone counts is uncompromising adherence to the rule of law and the defense of the public good.
Our Mission
The Anti-Corruption Initiative operates as an independent public watchdog. We are completely unattached to political parties, governmental subsidies, or corporate interests. Our sole allegiance is to the democratic rule of law and the public interest.
Cooperation on Equal Terms & The Principle of Good Faith
Empowerment rather than obstruction as the hallmark of constitutional governance
When bureaucratic procedures are instrumentalized to fend off legitimate civic requests through procedural attrition, the foundational purpose of public service is betrayed. A mature constitutional democracy engages with its citizens as equals in constructive cooperation. We insist that public authorities fulfill their statutory mandate to enable citizen rights with uncompromised integrity, seriousness, and transparency.
Legality vs. Legitimacy
Modern corruption rarely relies on suitcases filled with cash. It operates within the shadows of tailor-made procurement guidelines, discretionary subsidy allocations, and informal gentlemen agreements. We systematically confront public decisions with the question: Does this action serve the public good or privileged private interests?
We scrutinize the underlying motives: Is the proceeding genuinely fulfilling the objective and intent of the law – or are administrative processes being instrumentalized to advance questionable private interests?
Financing & Independence
To prevent any external influence, the initiative rejects all government grants and political party funding. All infrastructure and operational expenditures are privately sustained.
